It has been 5 years since Ironman mode has released in 2014. To
celebrate this, Runescape team has added some special rewards for those
whose accounts have been an Ironman for 5+ years! What's more, over 20
content creators are racing to be the first to kill Queen Black Dragon
on new HCIM accounts.
Runescape Ironman mode and Hardcore Ironman mode are account-types released in 2014. Players with the two accounts are encouraged to be self-sufficient entirely. To celebrate Ironman's 5th anniversary, there are some special rewards offered for players whose Ironmen accounts are for 5+ years:
- A broadcast will trigger when an account hits the 5 year ironman milestone.
- Ironmen and Hardcore Ironmen can be able to obtain a unique title, and you'll have to find this one out by yourselves!
- There is a special trimmed version of the Ironman armour!
All of these rewards can be obtained by speaking to Mr Ex in Edgeville.
Race on new HCIM accounts to defeat QBD
Besides the special rewards, all kinds of content creators are gathering together to race on new Hardcore Ironmen accounts in order to defeat the Queen Black Dragon. There are more than 20 content creators on new HCIM accounts such as Maikeru, ITrolledU, TheRSGuy, Wazzy, EvilLucario, RS_Nate and so on.
Unlike the original HCIM accounts, the new ones now have some special debuffs and limitations, like creators can't use an Antifire Shield during the Queen Black Dragon fight. If any of the content creators die, they're out of the game.
