It has been confirmed that there is no RS Halloween event this year.
Instead of the Halloween event, a new quest named Araxxor Quest will be
released later with a horror theme.
According to the recent RuneScape livestreams, the develop team has confirmed that there will not be the Halloween event this year, unless a developer picks it up for GameJam. After the year of 2004 and 2013, it is the third time that no Halloween event is hosted.
Although players cannot enjoy Halloween event this year, there will be new quest named Araxxor Quest. This quest will be a horror themed quest focused around Araxxor’s lore, which is worked by Mod Osborne, Mod Raven, Mod Camel and possibly Mod Orion. The Araxxor Quest will be focused around Castle Drakan that fells under a spider infestation/siege and you will learn more about it. This quest likely won’t be released by Halloween, but sometime later.
