As a master member-only quest, Runescape Desert Treasure requires you
to release the Mahjarrat Azzanadra from his pyramid prison with
gathering Diamonds of Azzanadra in the Kharidian Desert. Here we provide
a quick guide to help you complete the master quest successfully.
You should start this quest by talking to the archaeologist in the Bedabin Camp. In addition to the 10 Slayer, 50 Firemaking, 50 Magic, 53 Thieving and 50 Mining skills, you also need to bring the following items:
1. Two free inventory spaces needed in Asgarnia Smith.
2. In Four Diamonds of Azzanadra, you must carry 6 steel bars, 12 magic logs, 6 molten glass, a charcoal, a blood rune, ashes, 650 coins and bones. And you shouldn't wear any Saradomin or Zamorak-aligned gear.
3. Garlic, a silver bar and spice are needed in The blood diamond. You can also choose to bring good food, 2-3 prayer potions, a druid pouch or ouroboros pouch, magic combat supplies or a dwarf multicannon and an emergency teleport.
4. A cake or chocolate cake or chocolate bar, spiked boots, and climbing boots are needed in The ice diamond. Also, 4 or more regular or super restore potions, a few prayer potions, lots of good food or Saradomin brews, an emergency teleportation method and the Surefooted or Greater Surefooted aura are suggested to bring.
5. You should wear facemask or masked earmuffs or slayer helmet, a pair of ice gloves, and two free inventory spaces are also needed in The smoke diamond.
6. Lockpicks, or hair clips, or alternatively a Master thief's lockpick are needed in The shadow diamond. And a few antipoisons are recommended to bring.
7. As for Jaldraocht Pyramid part, you should carry smoke diamond, shadow diamond, blood diamond and ice diamond.
Rewards obtained after completing Desert Treasure quest
You can get a series of rewards when you complete the master quest, such as 3 quest points, 20,000 Magic experience, Ring of visibility, Bandit Camp lodestone and 2 Treasure Hunter keys and 2 Hearts of Ice. In addition, you can get the ability to use Ancient Magicks and can access the Smoke Dungeon through the well entrance and the Zarosian gravestone. What's more, you will be able to unlock several kinds of music like Stranded, Frostbite, Sarcophagus and so on.
