According to the recent Daily Challenges Rework dev blog, there will
be the update in the form of RS Daily Challenge Rework. Here you could
learn the details of changes and new contents with this Daily Challenge
Rework.
Player agency will be increased with RS Daily Challenge Rework. There will be only one Challenge per skill most of the time instead of several ones, which will require players to interact with the skill in a manner of their choosing.
Moreover, as completing a Challenge often felt more like busywork, the amount of activity required to complete a Challenge will be reduced with the rework. With this update, players will not have to spend their time lighting every beacon simultaneously, stringing 336 elder shieldbows, or baking too many amounts of summer pies.

The dev blog has revealed the new Daily Challenge interface after RS3 Daily Challenge Rework.
From the interface we can see the recommended tasks have been replaced by a new “Claim Rewards” button. This button will allow players to complete their Challenges and receive their rewards from anywhere in the game world.
In addition, there will be XP reward for completing RS Daily Challenges. Each Daily Challenge will award XP, which is equivalent of a huge prismatic lamp.
