The Disk of Returning OSRS could once be gained during midsummer
events. With the update this week the disk can be obtained again,
allowing you to visit the black hole.
With the update on January 16th, the Disk of Returning can be obtained again in Old School RS. To get this item, you need to find Diango in Draynor Village and purchase the disk. It costs 21,000.
How to use the Disk of Returning OSRS?
You need to be inside the Dwarven Mine to activate the Disk of Returning. When it is activated, you will teleport into Blackhole and meet Thordur. Simply activate the disk again to leave OSRS black hole.
You can visit a blacker blackhole if you select the Blackout option. You will be taken to a completely dark area where you are freely able to move around. Use the light found in the south-west corner if you want to leave the blacker blackhole.
Original purpose of OSRS black hole
The black hole was created originally to punish players who misbehaved. Players who misbehaved were sent to the black hole for their actions, and they had to remain there for an undefined amount of time before being removed. With the release of the Disk of Returning in 2001, players could visit the black hole without breaking any rules.
